Anoka County Water Heater Services

Need a water heater repaired, replaced, or installed in Anoka County? Call Water Heaters Now at 651-615-6915. Our shop on Stinson Parkway in northeast Minneapolis puts us close to Blaine, Coon Rapids, Fridley, and the surrounding north metro.

Water heaters do not always make replacement easy. In an older Fridley or Columbia Heights home, the challenge might be getting a new tank down a tight basement stairway or working around decades-old venting. In newer Blaine or Ramsey homes, we may find the water heater tucked into a small finished-space closet with barely enough room for the existing unit.

We see these setups all the time.

Water heaters are our specialty. Our technicians work on these systems every day, so when something looks unusual, we know how to work through it. That matters when the problem isn’t just a bad part, but how the water heater, venting, gas line, electrical supply, and available space fit together.

We are licensed in Minnesota. We also handle the required permits and inspection paperwork for our installations.

Water Heater Repair, Maintenance, Replacement & Installation in Anoka County, MN

Most water heater calls start with a simple problem: no hot water, water on the floor, or a unit that’s old enough that you are wondering how much longer it has left.

The important part is figuring out which situation you are actually dealing with.

A nine-year-old water heater does not automatically need to be replaced. Sometimes only a thermostat, heating element, valve, igniter, or another component has failed. We look at the system first and explain what we find before recommending repair or replacement.

We answer phones Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. So when the water goes cold after dinner, or you notice a leak on a Saturday morning, you can reach us.

No hot water troubleshooting

When there is no hot water, we start with the basics and work from there. Depending on the system, that means checking the power or gas supply, thermostat and high-limit controls, heating elements, burner and ignition components, venting, and finally the tank’s condition.

You will know what failed and what it will take to fix it before we move ahead.

Leaking water heater response

A little water around a water heater can mean several different things.

A fitting, connection, or relief valve may be leaking and could be repaired. Water coming through the tank itself is a different matter. Once the tank has corroded and begun leaking, replacing the unit is usually the sensible option.

We find the source first rather than assuming the answer.

Water heater flushing and maintenance

Sediment builds up inside storage tanks. Over time, that buildup can affect recovery, create popping or rumbling noises, and put extra strain on the equipment.

A maintenance visit lets us flush the tank, inspect key components, and catch problems before they become serious. It’s much easier to deal with a worn part during a planned service visit than after a tank fails on a cold morning.

Permits and Minnesota code compliance

For our installation work, we handle all required permits and inspections. That leaves you with the paperwork showing that the installation was handled properly and inspected as required.
